  • NBAD Arrow

    The National Bank of Abu Dhabi, which is the first UAE Bank to offer mobile phone banking, has a long standing partnership with Luup to mobile enable a wide range of services, such as mobile remittances. Luup and NBAD developed the the Arrow service. Launched in November 2008, it lets NBAD customers access the money in a bank account from a mobile phone and then check the balance of their account, instantly send money to friends and family, pay their bills and donate to charities by SMS or a smartphone. In 2011, the bank was announced as the winner of Best Mobile Payment Application in the Middle East, for the ARROW Mobile Application, which is based on mobile financial solutions from Luup.
